1. INTERIM SERVICE - Helps maintain the performance and efficiency of your vehicle's engine. (See home page for prices or click here).
Here is a brief guide of what's included:
- engine oil and filter change
- fluids under the bonnet checked and topped up if necessary
- a general check of the vehicles suspension components
- a general check of the condition of the underside of the vehicle
- tyres checked for condition and pressure topped up if necessary
- removal of the wheels to check the brakes condition and lifespan remaining
Regular maintenance is important for prolonging the lifespan of a vehicle and reducing the need for any major repairs. This type of service is typically required if your average yearly mileage is below 5000 miles.
2. FULL SERVICE - As above Interim Service plus additional checks and parts changed if necessary. (See home page for prices or click here).
Here is a brief guide of what's included:
All as above plus the following:
- air filter element changed
- fuel filter changed
- cabin filter
- spark plugs (petrol engines)
A more indepth and thorough check of all aspects of the vehicle. This type of service is generally required every 2-3 years (more often for higher mileage vehicles).
Every vehicle is different and you should always refer to your manufacturer's handbook for guidance on what type of service your vehicle requires. If you are unsure please do not hesitate to contact me; I'd be happy to give you advice.
